Hay Days Coasters

This painting is the second of a two-painting series featuring the same devoted farming couple. Here it is now summertime—they are having a brief chat about their day’s events. She has a bucket with her as she’s coming back from feeding the chickens. He is telling her the cocks of hay are all made. They both are hoping for more dry days before they bring it in.
